In Barrio Kennedy, a scenario is shown that changes with temporality but retains its essence, an essence that derives from the clash of two great cultures, a constant battlefield in which several forces co-act and collide.

This project seeks to show how a very representative neighborhood in the poor area of Bogota can change with the generation of the Metro in the city. With this project, we were able to demonstrate the porosity of the buildings that arises from processes of change that generated mutations both in the spatiality of the houses and in its facades, responding to external tensions, which change and modify the space and its relationship with the city. In the neighborhood, they have a base architectural topology, which was premeditated and built the same for all houses and buildings, but over time they have mutated both internally and externally.

By the concept of Confetti, we seek to generate the new spaces that will be created within the neighborhood through the self-construction that the inhabitants themselves are accustomed to perform. One floor over another, where housing, equipment and social spaces are located. So, like a confetti.
